Roz Abrams Visits Campus

In November 2017, generous Rackham donor Roz Abrams (M.A. 1971) returned to campus to meet with members of the Bouchet Honor Society and Students of Color of Rackham. Abrams and the students shared stories of their experiences in graduate school, their career paths, and their role as activists, both past and present. Abrams was a distinguished broadcast journalist before retiring in 2010. She was the first African American female journalist to join WABC-TV in New York and the second anchorwoman of color in the New York City market.
